Customs Dashboard

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) dashboard, launched amid ongoing reforms at the Bureau, features information never previously published with the goal of increasing transparency of trade and revenue collection activity. The data in this dashboard is from the improved BOC Electronic to Mobile (E2M) System, which gives the public easier access to BOC's services.

Use the filters to view trade activity in the BOC ports; reports on rice, motor vehicles, tobacco, plastic resin, and iron and steel imports and importers; top commodities imported in BOC ports; and, top BOC brokers and importers.

Top 20 Commodity Imports

This section contains lists of the top 20 commodity imports based on CIF value imported, volume imported, number of import entries processed, or total taxes and duties collected. The top commodities found in this dashboard only cover commodities as processed in BOC main district ports.

Data is extracted from the BOC Electronic-to-Mobile (E2M) database and hence, does not include manual assessments.

HS Code (or the Harmonized System Commodity Code) - According to the Trade Atlas, it is a standardized numerical method of classifying traded products developed and maintained by the World Customs Organization. It can be defined as the 'identification number' of all products in customs procedures. Click here to see technical definitions of these HS codes, as the ones presented here are simplified descriptions.

CIF value - total cost of goods, insurance, and freight of the imported commodity

Volume - gross weight of the imported commodity

No. of import entries - total number of processed import transactions

Total duties and taxes collected - ad valorem taxes, excise taxes, VAT, fines and penalties, and customs duties (CUD) collected from the imported commodity

% distribution - commodity's CIF value, volume, total duties and taxes, or number of import entries for a certain month as a percentage of the total CIF value, volume, total duties and taxes, or number of import entries for all commodities for that month

Certain commodities and importers are exempt from customs duties, as specified in the Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines (TCCP). Hence, some commodities and importers may have 0 corresponding customs duties collected or paid.
