In line with our commitment to sustain data transparency, the Open Data Task Force has released Joint Memorandum Circular no. 2015-01, which contains specific guidelines for agencies on how to implement open data.

Companies participating in the EITI publish the amounts they pay to their respective governments, which in turn also publish their collections from these industries.

In support of our thrust to promote the use and reuse of data, the Task Force recently partnered with the University of the Philippines’ National College of Public Administration and Governance (UP-NCPAG) to organize a two-day Open Data Boot Camp.

Agencies play a crucial role in the work of opening up government data. It is their support and active participation that has allowed for the continued expansion of the Open Data portal, which currently hosts a total of 1,237 data files.

The Open Data Task Force and Step Up Consulting Services again worked together to organize the Open Data Stocktake Workshop.

Open Data PH at the ENCITE-OGD Training Workshops in Bohol and Negros Oriental

The Task Force participated in two workshops under the Enhancing Citizen Engagement with Open Government Data (EnCitE-OGD) project, an initiative of Step Up Consulting Services funded by the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Open Data Working Group.

The Open Data Task Force, represented by Outreach Lead Ivygail Ong, recently participated in the Regional Open Data Agenda-Setting Workshop, held last February 4-6, 2015, in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Open Data Task Force recently helped organize #HackTarlac2015, a project of the Provincial Government of Tarlac in partnership with the Union of Local Authorities of the Philippines (ULAP) and Microsoft Philippines.
